We cycled Crowsnest Pass (elevation 1,358 m) and there it was – beautiful lake with fantastic white-clouded sky. Nature in Canada is awesome.

When cycling in Canada I was expecting mainly Rocky Mountains, bears and snowcapped peaks. I was a little surprised to find this western-like landscape near Kamloops.

We had a lot of fun cycling in Alberta and British Columbia in Canada. There were three of us, we were a little afraid that the bears are going to eat us at night (you know, tents, some food in the panniers, but we hanged those on a tree). But nothing ate us.

Cycling in Canada was very exciting and Kootenay was one of most beautiful national parks to my liking. We visited about five national parks.
