Gavia Pass route goes up to 2,621m and sometimes is part of famous Giro d’Italia bicycle race. We cycled it with heavy panniers. It wasn’t easy, but the views were rewarding. The road is very narrow, difficult for cars.

Road to Umbrail Pass, Switzerland

After ascending famous Stelvio Pass (2,760 meters elevation) by bicycle, we went to Umbrail Pass, another high alpine pass. This is our view towards descent to Switzerland.
