Boston city skyline seen from South Boston
So, what are your thoughts on the skyline of Boston, Massachusetts? I enjoyed the city, and I admire the skyline. If I needed to describe it with one word, it would be: consistent. I read opinions that Boston, as one of top 10 cities by population in the United States deserves a better skyline. Isn’t it pretty, though? I find it pretty. I took this photo in 2013 and I consider it one best stock photos of Boston in my portfolio.
There are people who call Boston skyline underwhelming or bland. Would you agree? It features mostly mid-sized office buildings, and doesn’t have any striking peak skyscraper towering above everything else. But is it bad?

The photo itself was taken on a fabulously sunny day of June. I took it from South Boston Harborwalk. The shiny glass building on the left is InterContinental Boston, a 4-star hotel. The round buildings in the middle are One International Place and Two International Place. The closer bridge is Evelyn Moakley Bridge, with a piece of Old Northern Ave Bridge visible in background.
